It is good to see the moods of the students lightening at the news that they can travel to Hogsmead. I miss being able to be that happy for things like that, I will be stucking grading papers most of my time.

Though if the village was just put under quarintine the virus must be somewhat still there, it might be wise for you all to becareful when you do travel. Not only for the fact of who is still out there, but to bundle up and not expose yourself to catching any colds. With the change comeing from winter to spring things will be getting good and wet, but it will still be chilly.

That goes double for all of you, I did knit those scarfs for christmas for this very reason. While I would caution you from going at all until we know if anyone is in trouble of catching it again, I know that I cannot stop any of you. Perhaps save for Bill. The last thing anyone wants is for you all to be in the Hospital Wing with colds.

Ah, it is so nice to see the sun again. I was starting to worry the whole winter would be gloomy thanks to the fog.

I am sorry. I do not want to be upset anymore...I know I have been cold and I am just so scared. I know I am busy with classes...but I would like sometime together. We have not really had that since you came, no?

Also, I think I finally can feel le petite...but I am not sure if it that or I am just hungry again.

Perhaps this is just because I never went to Hogwarts during my schooling, but are the students always this disenchanted with anything that has the bearing of authority? I know that they have every right to be worried about how things are, but the fact that they have no faith in us worries me.

I know that Professor Flitwick offered the school's councilor if any of you need someone to speak with in this sad time, but I to offer my ear and shoulder to any who might need it. I know I am new to this as a Professor...but I am here to help just as much as any other should be.

I am here...should any of you need it. I know these are hard times, and we should all have someone to talk to if we need it.

I will not lie, this murder has me rather worried. I have been doing my best to keep my condition as much of a secret, but it is getting somewhat tiresome. While I am not finding spells my spells hard to perform, they have been making me much more tired then normal after performing some of the stronger ones.

Also..the food situation is not helping as I am finding myself most hungry and for the strangest things at the oddest of times. Yesterday it was pea soup, today it's cream puffs. Le petit surely loves quite rich and heavy food, which I think has caused me to put on too much weight already.

To all NEWTs students: Over the break please read the chapter on Conjuring Spells in Guide to Advanced Transfiguration. For those of you with magic, please practice with small objects as you will be tested after the break. Any whom are in class and have lost your magic due to the virus; a scroll on the practice and theroy will be required.

Oh I have been so busy before the break trying so hard to adjust my classes because of this virus. I miss Mcgonagall, she wouldn't have this problems I am not fit to I am glad to have these two weeks to actually rest. I have been getting a little tired here and there and it has been very frustrating. I cannot let this get the better of me for both le petite and myself.

I want to apologize to my NEWT's class today for my lack of energy during the lesson. It was highly contraire au code professionnel of me to have attempted class in such a state. I have found that lately I have been a little tired more then likely due to the cold of the castle. Though I will be sure to remedy this by our next lesson, as doing magic with a weak consitution is something that should not be done of course.

While I am not going to share this with all of the student body just yet, I am far to worried excité not to share with those close to me and my fellow Professors.

My recent bouts with a lack of energy have been found to be that I am with child!

I had thought perhap I was catching a cold when I felt malade à mon estomac, but...it turns out to be morning sickness. This is why I tell you, because I do not want you to think I am sick. I will share eventually with the rest of the school, but with those whom have recently shown up I did not want to share with too many just yet.

Bill I am sorry I could not tell you before everyone eles, I hope all of your brothers and sister are looking forward to becoming Aunts and Uncles! And if you could tell your mother and father, I am sure they will be as excited as you must be.

I am very satisfait that the Owls where finally let in, William sent me my journal which I had left behind at home before the year started. I have alwayed prefered speaking face to face or thru owl with people. Though I am sure this will keep me en marche of things going on outside of Hogwarts. From what I have seen of the students using them in the Great Hall as well as my class they should not be durement to pick up how to use them quite quickly.

Though I think I need to get back to grading the last batch of essays from my class...which I do promise will be the last until after the holiday. I believe we shall be getting a little more hands on with our lessons. Books cannot teach alone.
